Last year you showed great support of the "Celebrate Canada" Festival by supplying the use of your 1-ton truck to haul equipment destine to and from Fort George Park on Canada Day. The Multicultural Heritage Society has organized the Canada Day festivities for 32 years and is looking forward to a successfull 33!

 

The festivities in Fort George Park would not be possible were it not for the commitment from sponsors such as yourself. Your truck was an invaluable asset used for transporting all necessary equipment during the setting up and tearing down of the Festival.

 

We would greatly appreciate it if you could donate your truck again this year..............................

I have bought for myself a tripel E modular home on its own lot in the west end of town with a view of the mountains from my front deck.

The cat and dog are glad of a place to stay and so am I.

On behalf of the 2006 Board of Directors for the Canadian Northern Children's Festival. I would personally like to thank you very much for your continued support you have given us over the year's with your kind donation of the use of your cube van.

 

Our festival "Harmony of Arts" was held at Fort George Park with great success. The natural surroundings of Fort George Park makes it a perfect place to hold the children's festival. The children enjoyed a wide variety of entertainment with our wonderful performances, face painting and in the hands on area which is always popular.

 

As a non profit organization, we rely on sponsors like you to put on the festival, not only for the children of Prince George, but for all the children in the North. For most of these children, the Canadian Northern Children's Festival is the only school field trip that they get to go on all year and very much look forward to attending.

Again, thank you. Without you, we could have not put on this years festival and we look forward to your support for the next festival.

Dear Hugh,

 

I would like to begin by extending an enormous THANK YOU for the donation of your 1 ton truck for our use on Canada Day. I do realize that the effort you put forth to have the truck fixed on our behalf was an incredible act of kindness and we really would have been stuck without your astonishing consideration!

 

I would then like to continue by extending another enormous THANK YOU to Ginette, who extended her time and effort to contact you and generously drive me to pick up the truck from the parking lot and then again from Esslinger Motors.

 

This year the "Celebrate Canada" Festival in Fort George Park began at 11:00 am and finished at 7:00 pm, reverting back to a family festival without a fireworks display. Though we were unsure of the reception the Festival would receive without fireworks, Canada Day was a huge success and we have already obtained very positive feedback. Thousands of people came to the park to enjoy the ethnic foods and entertainment as well as the many activities and attractions.
